Mr Wang told me to blog, so yes here I am (even if I refuse to let my name be known as Lily- because it ain't!)
Well it's a Tuesday and I'm on the sofa consuming very buttery Madeleines.
Saturday! Hillsong was the BOMB.
Even if Kelvin and I really felt like throwing my bag away while walking to the MRT from the Maz Pavillion (because he was carrying it for me).
I made a new friend on Saturday! Presenting, Melissa.
She's Kelvin's and Nicole's senior :) Really bubbly person.
So we met up at Tanglin Mall and later we took the MRT to Expo.
The route home is disgustingly tiring, I can't stress this enough! ):
Skip skip skip. Finally Hillsong was right there before my eyes.
It wasn't really them, but God once again ignited my fire- I was on fire for Him.
I didn't care who was with me, I just jumped like a nutcase.
Some parts were initiated by emotional highs but there was the chorus of From The Inside Out that was so powerful when they showed the cross on the screen, and you could feel the Holy Spirit in every single one of us.
Hands raised high were like pushing forward to reach out, heads tilted backwards- as if we were going to fall into His everlasting arms.
That was the best part of the entire concert.
And I knew, deep down in my heart, the Father's love for me.
So on Sunday I listened to Pastor Prince's sermon that they gave in the goodie bag, "See The Father's Love For You".
"No matter how far you run, your father still sees you. When you love someone, you keep looking out for them. Remember how you saw your wife a few years back and she was the only person you were looking out for in the crowd? And so the father ran to kiss the boy, and in those times it wasn't civilised for a man above 30 to run. He pulled up his robes and in the olden days, their underwear is as long as the jeans today. So he pulled his robes up, revealing his underwear, ran to his son and kissed him, even if his son has coveted a share of the famjly fortune and had wished his father dead. Even if he had smelt of pigs after feeding the swine. Even if he had been disrespectful. Because when your father sees you, he sees your need for him."
"If your earthly father can love you this much, how much more does your Heavenly Father love you."
"And the greatest prayer you can pray is just 'Daddy'."
Daddy.
Daddy.
